I think the number 3 is their love child, but the numbers 1 and 2 are definitely the children of 4 and 5. The number 2 is fiercely protective of her younger brother 1 – she knows he’s special. Numbers 7 and 8 worry about the illicit relationship of their youngest brother 6, but the number 7 feels like he’s in this alone – the number 8 spends a lot of time with her best friend the number 9.
