Dreams That You Dare to Dream
October 26, 2003, 12:05 a.m. Did you know at my work they’ve already got out Christmas stuff? And back to school stuff? It’s ker-razy! But the back to school stuff is very snazzy – all these lovely icy-pole colours, pink and blue and green and orange and purple. It kinda inspired this new layout (which I will get to in a minute, as soon as I’ve finished waxing lyrical about the stationery). I want it so much that I’ve not only figure out what I’m getting, but what colour I’m getting it in. Oh dear . . . but really, my joy and glee at seeing those deliciously colour-co-ordinated scissors, notebooks and pencil-cases . . . desire like this, you would scoff, should be reserved for more deserving things. But really, would you rather I had an addiction to more damaging things? Now, the design – I haven’t tested it in anything but IE, so no doubt it’ll suck in Mozilla and Netscape. Actually, I’m rather proud of it – it was rather difficult to get that pseudo-mouse-over effect going on the coloured squares (which, by the way, are where the links are, at the top and bottom). The theme is semi Over the Rainbow - that’s where I got the title, and the previous/next links from. You can find more thoughts on it in the design section, as per. So, I guess now it’s just up to you to tell me tell me what you think.
