The Ghost Who Walks
October 26, 2003, 9:59 p.m. Who else thinks it’s crap that my layout won’t stay put? Every time I go to change a previous entry (which I do a lot to pages like Design, Reviews and Extras) it defaults back to the Stripped Bare layout, and sometimes no amount of resubmitting my layout will change it. Stoopid thing : P I went on a bit of a spender-bender today - $60 at my work, buying that stationery I delighted over, and $40 on some totally trashy shoes. They’re high-heeled sandals with fake cork soles. Yes, they’re that trashy. But I love them. I think they make my feet look sexy; they mould them into that classic Forties foot shape of high heels. I used to read a lot of Phantom comics, and whenever they did reprints of their early stories, I used to look on in envy at Diana’s foot shape. A chiropractor or a podiatrist would probably lament my shoes, but what do I care? They make me two inches taller! It’s been a week since I told Elf-boy to go away . . . I definitely feel better for it. It’s like . . . stepping into shadow after having the sun in your eyes. You can suddenly see better, your whole body relaxes, you’re no longer worried about walking into oncoming traffic : ) I’m beginning to feel like my relationship with him is really in the past . . . which I hope means I’m moving on . . . and that I’ll be able to find a new boy : ) Oh ew, did I just compare Elf-boy to the sun?! I hope he’s not still reading this, his ego will inflate astronomically. Oh who am I kidding, it already is ; ) In other news, I’m moving to a new FTP site, so if I’m hosting anything for anyone who reads this, let me know so I can inform you of the new location : )
