Calling All Able-Bodied Philologians
October 31, 2003, 12:22 p.m. I am looking for a word, it either starts with W or has W in it, and it means eerie, weird or uncanny. It could be used in relation to ghosts or spectres, I think. I know this word is out there, just out of the reaches of my memory, but I can't find it - does anyone know what it is? If so, please tell me.
