He's Got the Whole World in His Hair
November 15, 2003, 12:36 a.m. Went out with Ellie and Squidgey tonight, to a pub to see the Gunn, a band her best friend’s boyfriend is a drummer for. They were okay . . . pretty good, but to tell the truth, most of their songs sounded the same. The real highlight, for Ellie and I especially, was the band on before them, Neverland. They were awesome – lots of different styles of songs, great lyrics and memorable music. Eledhwen nabbed a demo CD off the lead guitarist, which she’s promised to burn for me. And, the icing on the cake was that the bassist was really, really hot. It was the hair, for me – lovely and long and black. Oh god, the hair, the hair! Why is it I always fall for the guys with long hair? Why does it always ensnare me? Mmm, anyway, Ellie and I are now going to keep an eye open for any of their gigs, and go stalk the Sexy Bassist (whose name we haven’t quite discovered yet). All in all, quite a successful evening.
