Use in a Well Ventilated Area
January 22, 2004, 12:44 a.m. Ha! I have been cleaning the bathroom. Nothing is more satisfying than sitting on your haunches in the shower recess, scrubbing at the grout between the tiles like there’s no tomorrow, and actually watching the dirt get washed away. In Survivor, by Chuck Palahniuk, a character who can’t seem to fix or work anything, discovers the joy of cleaning the bathroom: “It’s actually working! It’s actually getting cleaner!” Ah, I recognised her joy. My story is coming along surprisingly well. I have something to think about at work now, while I put out stock : ) There are flowers that close up at the touch of a human hand, but this flower is blooming ever more vividly from my touch. I worry about when the block will set in : ) Until then, I shall listen to my characters as they tell me of their fears (only to have other characters listening in snort and tell them they’re scared of everyting) and desires, and hopefully get it all down.
