March 03, 2004, 2:08 p.m. Aww, phooey. The artist said yes, but only if: a) Your site remains uncommercial – check! Sorry, but the design calls for image cutting-up, so no nice new diary design. Which is a shame, because it’s really a beautiful design, and now no one but me is going to see it : P I guess this just goes to show that honesty doesn’t pay – because now the artist knows where I live (so to speak) and can come check that I’m not just using the design anyway. So kids, if you to want use a copyrighted image, just put up a link to your source, write Used entirely without permission, and wait for the ‘cease and desist’ letter to turn up in your inbox – at least you’ll get a little bit of time with your diary design. Honesty doesn’t pay!
