Life, Liberty and Happiness

Oh dudes. I say ‘dude’ too much. And ‘sweet’. I blame Ellie for that one. Oh, and ‘INsane’, as well, emphasis on the in. Anyway. Oh dudes, I am so tired. But so happy. I keep getting little bursts of happiness as I remember the stuff I can do now – sleep in legitimately; stay up late legitimately; write diary entries; not worry about having to write one thousand words in five hours.

I went out with Elf-boy and a friend of his for coffee/dinner tonight, to celebrate. It was good stuff. Did I tell you the Elf-boy has a goatee now? Kinda makes him rather non-Elven, though I doubt I’ll change the name. He looks a bit odd now. Much older. I keep making fun of him for it, but it’s not that bad, really. Just . . . odd. I’m used to the clean-shaven Elf I was in love with. (Thankfully that’s not a problem anymore).

Anyway, a list of things I have/want to get done over the holidays:

  • Write to Sif
  • Clean my room
  • Decorate the boxes in my wardrobe
  • Write
  • Edit the Elf-boy’s manuscript
  • See Harry Potter
  • See Shrek 2
  • See Super Size Me
  • See Troy
  • Buy some new boots
  • Buy some new jeans
  • Get a haircut
  • Generally spend lots of money on lovely things
  • Read The Da Vinci Code (I love crackpot theories)
  • Hmm, love all the free time. I’m so happy! And I have new shoes!
