If You Punch Me, I Bleed

Still loving the boots. So very warm and right for winter : )

Today, party for a SUMS friend. We were going to do a picnic, but Sydney suddenly remembered it was July and decided to roll in the rain clouds and unleash the winds. So we opted for a movie, but first, food court for fooding. Then running up and down George St trying to decide on a place for coffee. First, Starbucks was suggested, then Gloria Jeans – we began going towards the one in Haymarket, but ran into other people and then started going in the opposite direction towards “the café opposite Town Hall”. Somehow we were separated, and half the people were at Cube, and the other half at Jet. The Cube half joined the Jet half, and realised Jet was too full (whereas Cube was not). But instead of turning around and going back to Cube, we went to the Tea Room in the QVB, only to find out they required bookings. So it was back to Cube.

Then we lost a lot of people, because of our decision to see Spider-Man 2. Despite their nay-saying, I really enjoyed the movie. Lots of believable emotion, as well as cool special effects. And humour and happy endings. Yay!

Also, I have now got myself a mistress, a kept woman, if you will. I figured as long as I have a wife, I should have a mistress as well. So Squidgey has stepped into the role – I’ve bought her coffee, cake and a movie ticket so far : )

Only one week left till uni starts again. I got my results back last night – straight distinctions. My highest mark was an 81, and my lowest a 76, but I don’t mind. It’s quite cool to say I got straight distinctions. Consistent : )
